2by2 Gaming Casinos

2by2 Gaming is a fairly well-seasoned developer, which has been around since 2012. They’re connected to a lot of different companies, for which they’ve created games over the years. This includes the online casino industry, but they’ve worked for land-based outfits as well.

Right now, they’re offering more than 40 slot machines of their own, and they are present at hundreds of casinos, from dozens of countries. In most countries, they’re very well represented, which is not that hard to believe once you realize that they’re part of platforms like Quickfire and Oryx, which have a lot of customers. Some of the industry’s most powerful casinos will feature their content, which makes them very easy to find.

Online, you can find their content on platforms like Quickfire, Amaya, Openbet, Lega, WorldMatch, and Multislot.

At land-based locations, they’ve worked with Bally Technologies, Aflastret, and Incredible Technologies, and they’re found at casinos from North America, Macau or Europe.

Social gaming is also a focus of theirs, and they’ve made their casino games available on mobile devices (Android, iOS, Kindle) and on Facebook.

All About 2by2 Gaming – Online Casino Software Providers

2by2 Gaming is a Chicago-based company, which was founded by Shridhar Joshi, a former WMS employee (4^th one and VP for the company, he helped it get to over $800 million in revenues).

An experienced team of developers, lead by Darryl Huges (also formerly from WMS), contribute with over 125 years of experience, collectively.

From game designers to programmers, mathematicians, artists and sound experts, the team they’ve put together is an experienced one, and they’ve been responsible for several excellent titles over the years.

One of the things they mention proudly is that they have more than 65 issued patents so far, with another 35 applications pending.

You might know them as game developers, but they are working within the industry in various capacities:

• Game licensing (their games are available at online, land-based, and social gaming casinos).
• Custom game development (creating bespoke content in HTML5, with the help of their programmers, sound experts, artists and game designers).
• Game conversion services (bringing land-based games to online and mobile platforms, experienced as a result of their work for Bally and Bluberi Gaming).
• Consulting services (their considerable experience within the industry can be of help to companies looking to enter this market).

The Leading 2by2 Gaming Games

Though 2by2 Gaming has a collection of games that covers land-based and social content as well, we’re going to be focusing on their online games alone. Their slot machines are widely available, thanks to the powerful partnerships they’ve developed over the years. Three of their more popular titles at the moment are covered below.

Valkyrie Returns

It’s one of their recent releases, a 2020 slot machine that delivers 243 ways to win over 5×3 reels. It’s a story that revolves around Valkyrie, a secret agent that we’ve seen in a previous release as well (Agent Valkyrie, from 2018). It’s not your typical release though, and while the original had some Steampunk elements to it (flying airships and treasure maps being involved there), in the sequel it looks like it’s all about action.

Though the four female characters make an impression, it’s likely that you will be a lot more interested in the excellent free spins with up to 27x wild multipliers. Potential wins of 2,430x the stake are on the table, along with a 96.01% RTP.

Medusa’s Golden Gaze

A 2018 slot machine, Medusa’s Golden Gaze is still an appreciated game to this day. Medusa’s presence signals the use of Ancient Greek mythology as inspiration, and you will discover inside a slot machine that incorporates the time’s heroes, sirens, and temples into its design.

On 5×3 reels, and with 25 active lines, it’s got a standard setup for a slot machine, but its mix of free spins, wilds, mystery symbols, and other features, will all help make it more interesting than it might seem at first. A jackpot of up to 62,500 coins and a 96.06% RTP are also strong motivators, for a player to try this game out.

Prize of Paris

Another recent release of theirs, Prize of Paris is a type of travel-themed game that is especially interesting in our times, with the lack of traveling going on. Classy-looking, with porcelain teacups and vintage handbags among its symbols, it appears to be going for the romantic angle if we go by the two main characters and the many flowers present everywhere. Of course, it then adds several tall stacks of gold coins next to the reels, so it’s not forgetting about its gambling roots.

High volatility, but coupled with a 2,500x jackpot and a 95.50% RTP, it will keep some of the casual players away, making it a more likely choice for experienced ones.

Final Thoughts on 2by2 Gaming

I wouldn’t call 2by2 Gaming a top name in the industry, but they do make a serious effort at delivering interesting games, and they mostly succeed at that. The design is not as modern as what you’d get from companies that have roots in the online industry, so you can sort of see the WMS connection from its past.

Overall, it’s a solid developer, one which offers an excellent collection of slot machines for you to play, but not a top choice.
