Privacy Policy

This policy covers personal data processed when you visit casinodigest.org. The site has no user accounts, no comment section and no newsletter, so the amount of data involved is small.

Data controller

The controller is Pennantwise Interactive Limited, 10 Cannon Lane, Gibraltar GX11 1AA. Anything concerning your personal data, whether a question or a request, can be sent to [email protected].

What is collected

• Request data. Each time a page loads, the server and our network provider record your IP address, the time, the address requested, the referring page and your browser's user-agent string.
• Visit identifiers. Two cookies, mz_vid and mz_src, are set on every page: a random visitor ID and the source of the visit (for example "direct"). Their details are in the cookie policy.
• Partner clicks. When you follow a casinodigest.org/go/ link, the click is logged with your visitor ID, and that ID is passed to the operator as a click reference. Two more cookies, mozbiz_session and XSRF-TOKEN, are set by that redirect.
• Email. If you write to us, we receive your address and whatever you put in the message.

Casino Digest does not run Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Facebook Pixel or advertising trackers, and it does not ask for your name, date of birth or payment details.

Why it is used

Request data keeps the site running and protects it from abuse and automated attacks. Visit identifiers and click logs let us count visits and attribute registrations to partner links so that operators can settle commission with us, as explained in the affiliate disclosure. Emails are used to answer you. Where a legal basis is required, we rely on our legitimate interest in operating and financing the site and, for correspondence, on your request.

Who receives it

Pages are delivered through Cloudflare, which processes request data to serve and protect the site. Hosting providers handle server logs. An operator you visit through a partner link receives the click reference, and what it does with data from then on is covered by its own privacy policy. We do not sell personal data or hand it to data brokers. Some of these providers may process data outside Gibraltar; where that happens, we rely on their contractual safeguards.

How long it is kept

Server logs are deleted on a rolling basis after a few weeks unless they are needed to investigate an attack. The mz_vid cookie lasts one year, mz_src 30 days, and mozbiz_session and XSRF-TOKEN about 20 hours. Click records are kept while they are needed for settling partner commission. Emails are kept for as long as the correspondence requires.

Your rights

Under the Gibraltar data protection regime, which follows the GDPR, you can ask for access to your data, for its correction or deletion, for restriction of processing or for a copy in a portable format, and you can object to processing based on our legitimate interest. Send requests to [email protected]. You may also complain to the Gibraltar Regulatory Authority, which supervises data protection in Gibraltar, or to the data protection authority of the country where you live.

Minors

Casino Digest is meant for adults. We do not knowingly process data about anyone under 18 or under the higher gambling age that applies in their country.

Changes

This policy is updated when the way the site handles data changes. The "Checked" date at the top shows the current version.
