Amatic Industries Casinos

Amatic Industries are another all-rounder when it comes to the concept of slots and similar wagering-based games. Not only do they have a significant presence online, but they also have a very significant real-world presence too.

This company is actually better known as the manufacturer of gaming cabinets and other casino-related equipment, such as automated roulette machines. It even creates, sells and distributes video lottery terminals. Uniquely it is willing to create custom-built machines for individual clients, as well as standard cabinets suitable for a multitude of wagering environments.

Like one of its main rivals, Novomatic, Amatic is based in Austria. It is not based in a major population centre though, but a large village in the upper part of the country called Rutzenmoos.

Below you will find a quick list of some of the leading releases created by Amatic Industries and available online.

All About Amatic Industries – Online Casino Software Providers

The roots of Amatic Industries can be traced all the way back to 1993, which is long before the days when the internet became a part of everybody’s daily existence. They were founded by entrepreneur and casino expert Reinhold Bauer. The company had absolutely no intention of becoming a leading provider of online slots – virtually all of their output was based around real-world slotting and gaming cabinets which they would sell and export in Austria, the rest of Europe and all around the world. Not only did they create video slots, but they also created video versions of popular casino games such as roulette and video poker.

For countless years Amatic Industries withstood entering the online casino realm and in 2009 instead launched a new line in multi-game slotting cabinets. Initially, a success, when sales began to fall the bosses at Amatic conceded they would have to embrace internet technology too.

In 2011 Amatic Industries released their Multi Remote Gaming System which meant that some of their games could finally be released online as well as being hosted within real-world slotting cabinets.

Since 2011 Amatic has released a steady stream of online slots and casino games but the majority of their titles have remained with the realm of simple slots. That’s because the company still sees its prime motivation as being the creation of real-world wagering machines. When someone plays a real-world slot, they typically want to embrace a playing method that is familiar to them – a video slot display with wilds scatters and a free spins bonus game. Complicated slots tend not to be too popular in real-world locations.

The leading Amatic Industries real-world cabinets feature their multi-game system where one cabinet gives access to a high number of titles. In total, an Amatic multi-game cabinet in 2020 gives access to over 150 games. The majority of these games are slots, but blackjack and video poker are available too.

Other cabinets made by Amatic Industries include those for automated roulette at which eight players can play at any one time. They also make video lottery terminals that allow access to national or state-run lotteries.

The Leading Amatic Casino Games

Amatic Industries games all have one thing in common – they are all straightforward to play! Here are three of this Austrian company’s most popular slots.

Oktoberfest

Oktoberfest is the name of the annual beer festival that takes place in Munich in Germany each year in – bizarrely – September. It is also the name of Amatic Industries’ most popular slot. This game has a common 5×3 layout and is full of beer and pretzels, accompanied by appropriate um-pa-pa music. It has an RTP of 95% plus a max jackpot of 1,000 times your bet.

Billyonaire

One of the popular games ever put out by Amatic Industries, it’s also one of their oddest. The ‘Billy’ here seems to be a wealthy gambler … who also happens to be a cat. The rest of the symbols used are an odd mix – dice, whisky, a car, a newspaper and a feline femme fatale. It all comes together over five reels, four rows and forty paylines, with wilds, scatters and a free spins bonus game.

Eye of Ra

It seems to be an online casinos rule that every software creator must have created at least one Egyptian-themed slot. Amatic Industries are no exception, with this game ‘Eye of Ra’. In Ancient Egypt, it was a belief that the very sun itself served as the eye of Ra, looking down upon the human realm. In this game, there are 720 ways to win with the slots arranged in a 3-4-5-4-3 formation.

Final Thoughts on Amatic Industries

It seems strange that Austria seems to be a hot-bed of real-world gambling (almost as strange as Sweden being a hot-bed of online gambling), but this land-locked European country is home to both Novomatic and Amatic casinos. The latter is not nearly as successful as the former, but having been in business for over a quarter of a century, they cannot really be knocked for not being as successful as their main rivals.

Online, Amatic casinos’ output will hardly blow you away unless you like video poker, but this company likes to keep things simple and concentrates on their real-world creation. It’s a strategy that’s obviously paid dividends, so don’t expect it to change any day soon.
