August Gaming Casinos

While it is true that August Gaming has not taken the online slotting realm by storm, this small company has still managed to release a small number of games that are really worth considering. The output from this studio seems to have dwindled into a trickle though, and virtually nothing at all came from them during the pandemic-hit year that was 2020.

This small company is based in Curaçao and is purely B2B, which means like many other companies it has no direct relationship with online casino players. Its only remit is to provide slots for online casinos.

August Gaming seemed to start life concentrating on Asian markets, as most of their initial output could be deemed as having a distinct Asian influence. In more recent times their output has become increasingly diverse.

Below is an easy-to-use table of the leading online casinos where games from August Gaming can be found.

All About August Gaming – Online Casino Software Providers

There is not a huge amount of information available about August Gaming, and the company themselves are not ones to shout about themselves from the rooftops. Although this company’s registered address is in Curaçao, there is evidence to suggest that they themselves are based in Singapore.

One thing is clear though, as mentioned in the introduction this company was founded with the aim of concentrating upon iGaming markets in Asia. Most of their early slot releases have a distinctly Chinese feel, and although the company have diversified a little of late most of their games still have some kind of Asian connection.

Over four years the company has released a number of games, but none of them has made the big names in the business quibble with fear about their quality. Graphics, sounds and playability have all been repeatedly mundane. It seems the company did have plans to expand and improve, but these were thwarted due to the 2020 pandemic.

Although the company remains in business, since the end of 2019 they have not released one single online slots game or casino game of any description. Their current slots portfolio stands at 19 titles, and it is not known as to whether that figure is likely to get any larger.

The Leading August Gaming Games

Here are some details about three of the best games that have been developed by August Gaming so far.

Lucky Kids

Lucky Kids is the latest in a long line of Asian-themed slots created by August Gaming. Babies are considered lucky in Chinese folklore, and twins are considered to be exceptionally lucky. Here two twins, a boy and a girl arrive (one on a fish and one on a turtle) to help you find jackpots and good fortune.

As well as a distinctly authentic Chinese-sounding soundtrack, this game has 5 reels and 3 rows and ‘all ways pay’ so you have a magnificent 243 ways to win too. You may also be blessed with wilds, synced reels and bonus free games.

The Magical Lamp

You don’t have to be a genius to work out that ‘The Magical Lamp’ may have some connection to the ancient folklore tale of Aladdin. This slot has five reels, three rows and a total of 30 winning paylines. Aladdin is very much on your side in this game as when he appears at random, he may multiply your current win up to four times over, or add up to three wilds to the current playing arena to increase the size of any wins and generate new ones.

Some wilds are really wild in this game as instead of leaving the screen once a spin is over they instead circle round and create new combos. You also need to collect magically orbs while you are playing, as collecting five will trigger the free game feature.

King Kong

It’s a jungle out there! It certainly is when you encounter King Kong thanks to this colourful August Gaming title. This is a fruity game as you go around collecting all the great ape’s favourite fruit, including coconuts, bananas and watermelons.

You must make sure that you anger the great Kong though, as when he does so he shakes fruit from the nearby trees in order to add to your fruitful bounty. This slots game has three rows and five reels and it’s another ‘all ways pays’ slot with a total of 243 paylines. It also has wilds and the August Gaming version of avalanche symbols which they call Toppling Reels.

Final Thoughts on August Gaming

People in Asian markets are most likely to have played titles from August Gaming. The majority of this small company’s titles have some kind of Asian influence, even though August Gaming themselves are based in Curaçao, which is a tiny island close to the coast of South America.

The output from August Gaming has flatlined since 2019, but it seems that the company does remain in business. Who knows what we will see from them in the future if anything?
