Fantasma Games Casinos

Fantasma Games is one of the many Sweden-based developers of online casino games. They have a good reputation, mainly because of how interesting their games are, where features are just as good as the graphics included alongside. There are several other developers in the region which are all following the same recipe, and this one seems to do it as well. This particular company has only been around since 2016, and they have 16 games as of late 2020, and yet there are a lot of players that know about them already.

Based in Stockholm, Sweden,  Fantasma Games is a developer that you’re going to find easy to locate at various online casinos, as there are hundreds which offer their content, in 36 different countries. That’s mostly because their titles are available through the Quickfire platform from Microgaming.

They’ve also partnered with other developers and distributors on occasion, examples being Relax Gaming, Leander and Yggdrasil.

All About Fantasma Games – Online Casino Software Providers

Fantasma Games was established in 2016, and they released their first slot machine in 2017, a game called Super Sumo, and they followed with titles like Samurai Ken, The Grid and Spooky 5000. They are not the type to get a lot of new slots out; they take their time with them, which ensures that the quality is almost always very high.

Despite their small collection of games, they did a couple of things which insured that each new title got a lot more visibility and attention than you’d expect from a new developer. For one, they acquired Big Time Gaming’s Megaways license and designed some exciting slots with it. Heroes Hunt Megaways, Flower Fortunes Megaways and Maze Escape Megaways are the ones we’ve seen so far, with this particular engine.

They also partnered with Microgaming to distribute their content on the Quickfire platform, and they got on-board with the Yggdrasil Masters program, and also with Relax Gaming and Leander Games, designing slot machines for each one, and reaching different audiences and casinos this way.

The Leading Fantasma Games

As you’ve seen so far, Fantasma Games excels when it comes to creating slots that get a player’s attention. Even the slots that don’t have Megaways tend to offer some interesting mechanic or excellent graphics. In their more recent games, they’ve also made sure to keep an above-average RTP (return to player), so, for the most part, you’re getting a mix of high volatility, big rewards and slightly better odds than in most games found at online casinos. There are exceptions to that as well, but there are few.

Often enough, they incorporate a reel expansion feature in their slots, or at least it seems to be the case with their more popular titles. Whether it’s Megaways, or the ability to unlock additional symbols and ways to win, it’s something that they appear to favour. The result is more often than not a slot machine with high volatility, but also with big rewards.

Flower Fortunes Megaways

It’s the most popular game from their collection, mostly due to its presence on the Quickfire platform. You can find it at over 200 casinos from all over the world, and the developer mentions that it’s a top 10 game on that platform. Part of it is that it includes some exciting features and 5 math modules, so it’s not just a typical Megaways title.

Expect a 6-reel setup which gets up to 531,441 Megaways, and as a result, it can bring you rewards of up to 18,480x the stake. A 96% RTP is also present, in a game which is otherwise highly volatile. Expanding wilds with up to 9x multipliers, respins, bonus games, along with the usual Avalanches which you trigger with each new win, these all contribute to the fun factor and the game’s popularity.

Serpent Shrine

Serpent Shrine has a somewhat limited game area initially, delivering 108 ways to win from 2-3-3-3-2 symbols. Luckily, you can expand the game area, to as many as 5×7 reels with 16,807 ways. Add multipliers, free spins, wilds, and it’s no surprise that you can get paid over 10,000x the stake. At the same time, the RTP is high, expected to be 96.53%.

Curious about that unusual title? The game is going to be fantasy-themed, with the backdrop giving us the image of an enchanted forest. At the same time, its symbols rely on crystals, various tools and several characters which are just skeletons dressed as explorers—good design overall, and typical for Fantasma Games.

Heroes Hunt Megaways

As for Heroes Hunt, that’s another Megaways title that they deliver, and once again they’re not going to use the usual system. They keep the 6 reels, but the number of symbols isn’t as high, up to 6 per reel, which means that you can have up to 46,656 Megaways. The potential is as impressive as ever though, in a game which pays up to 26,000x the stake and has a 96.65% RTP.

The things that will keep you busy along the way, the slot’s special features, will give you several modifiers (explosions which remove symbols, expanding wilds, respins) and free spins where the extras are constantly active.

Final Thoughts on Fantasma Games

Fantasma Games delivers excellent graphics, slots which are filled with features that don’t feel common. Usually, they also prefer to launch highly volatile titles, where the top payouts are memorable. I love a lot of things about their content, but some of their titles are not exactly friendly to casual players. This is the kind of content that made them stand out, though, and they are likely to continue on this path.
